So this is a pretty major story update that I just had, inspired, of all things, the ice scene in Peter Jackson's King Kong. However this will only make a lot of sense if you are familiar with Outcast's plot.

So, around about 2005, Koise is in New York City during Christmas. Booger is off elsewhere, but Koise wanders into Central Park. It is quiet and empty inside, and Koise falls in love with it. He loves the privateness, the positive loneliness, and the cool colours of the snow, and the dim lights on the trees. That is all new content as a backstory.

Old content needed here is that Koise managed to get 5,000 years into the dystopian future. There he falls in love (for real) with a girl named Clarrissa. However, Clarrissa is killed by a friends betrayal (and his shotgun). This happens in Section II, and is old content.

Section III is taken up with so much new plot stuff that Koise doesn't have a lot of time to mourn for her until Section IIII (that's 4), and he feels very guilty about it. He talks to a new friend, Peridot, and he says to her that all happy moments he had before meeting Clarrissa feel dismal compared to Clarrissa herself. Peridot asks him to try harder, and Koise comes up with the moment in Central Park. As he is remembering, he imagines himself skating on the ice with her, even though they both don't know how. This is new stuff.

At the end of Section IIII, Koise finds a way to time-travel back to his original time (albeit 2 years earlier). There, he finds a girl named Maylen, and he finds out that she is Clarrissa's reincarnation (old). New info on her is that she is albino, loves snow and winter, and is one of the few Renons who can ice skate without shoes (given the size of their feet). Koise also finds a way to bring the memories of her past life as Clarrissa back by gathering various artefacts around the world (old).

New content is that one of these is in New York. Koise is feeling quite sad because he would love to do this with Clarrissa, and he is so close yet so far. Maylen, after initially being offended at Koise's accusations, learns to let him be, and is with him in New York. She wakes up to find Koise silently crying, so she invites him down to Central Park. There, Koise still feels sad, and tells Maylen that he feels very selfish. Maylen smiles at him, and takes him down to the frozen lake, and teaches Koise how to ice skate.
